I’m an outdoor-loving mama of a spunky 4-year-old boy, yoga-obsessed, tea-loving, growth-minded small-town Wisconsin girl, doing her best every day to improve upon my health and wellness through yoga!
It began when a friend of mine asked me to a CORE Power yoga class. I’m not a natural athlete and never found what my favorite exercise was, so naturally I was hesitant because A) I’d never taken a yoga class and B) fitness wasn’t my thing.
To be honest, my first yoga experience was horrible. I was completely lost in the class (seriously, didn’t even know what ‘down dog’ meant) and I felt silly trying to keep up with the instructor. But my friend asked me to go back the next week, so I thought I could give up (as I usually did when it came to exercise) or step up and try again.
Fast forward five years later and I’m glad I stepped up! Yoga has become not just a way to exercise, but a way to maintain my health and wellness while living a lifestyle that I love with my family!
And that’s why I’ve taken my yoga journey to the next level by helping others, like you, to learn beginner yoga techniques that can be incorporated into every day life to help improve on your health and wellness!
